GTA ANNUAL CONVENTION JUNE 19-22, 2010 BUENA VISTA PALACE RESORT & SPA LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLORIDA

| Hats Off to GTA Attendees |

It’s a wrap for 2010, and time to express appreciation to our many supportive members. First and foremost, we thank those members, their families and guests who joined us for this Annual event. While “Location, Location, Location” make Disney a favorite convention destination, it’s the group attendance and participation that make this meeting successful.
Secondly, we appreciate our speakers and moderators for expounding on this year's theme, “A Broadband Future.” Facing the challenges and focusing on advances and opportunities presented by the release of the National Broadband Plan by the Federal Communications Committee (FCC) and our State's adoption of House Bill 168, the "Telecom Jobs and Investment Act," are key to the rural telecommunications' future.
And, of course, we’d like to recognize Mickey & Minnie, Woody & Lotso, Aladdin & Jasmine and Sorcerer Mickey. These special guests touched our hearts at all the right times. Yes, it was indeed a meeting with lots of character. One morning we're trying to figure out how to leverage business assets; and before you know it, we're off to the parks for Disney fun and fantasies. It's a wonder we didn't go "Looney Toons!"
We also managed to have some “magical” moments. One in particular was our Sunday Evening at SeaWorld, sponsored by GTA Associates. Mother Nature kept it dry for the evening allowing us to enjoy the many exhibits, shows and rides that are unique to SeaWorld, one of GTA's favorite locations for a family event. Please take the time to view this year’s many SPONSORS. Events, receptions, refreshments, tote bags, door prizes and golf tournament donations all contributed to convention fun. THANK YOU! Make sure you check out GTA’s Album under the Members Only section. Jinks Durden, Pineland Telephone Cooperative, captured some happy faces, the recipients of our generous sponsors. Don’t hesitate to send us some of your favorite pictures to add to our album.
